Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
An unstable airmass has developed across portions of central Ontario. Winds gusts near 90 km/h and hail of 2 cm diameter are possible this afternoon.
Intense lightning is likely with any storm that develops. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
