(CALEDON, ON) – On April 28, 2014, officers from the Caledon Detachment were contacted to investigate a mischief complaint. During the course of in the investigation, the officer learned that sometime in May 2013, beehives located on a property on The Gore Road were damaged. During the week-end of April 12th, 5 beehives were kicked over causing irreparable damage. Sometime between April 24th and April 28th, two more hives were knocked to the ground. In total for 2014, 5 beehives were damaged in which all the bees perished.
