(CALEDON, ON)- On April 28, 2014, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 2 break and enter investigations which occurred overnight in sheds on Heart Lake Road properties.

 Preliminary investigation on both occurrences has revealed that the suspect(s) entered the shed and shop through insecure doors and stole numerous tools and pieces of equipment including a Dewalt drill, Makita angle grinder, Stihl chainsaw, Stihl gas blower, Snap-On impact driver and Makita tool kit

 Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.

 Police are asking anyone with information about this break and enter to contact Detective Constable Lemcke, Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can submit information online at Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.00.
