(CALEDON, ON) – On April 1st, 2014, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into the theft of water bottles from a Village of Bolton bottling plant.
As a result of the information, investigators learned that 2 males were attending the bottling plant on a nightly basis, entering the building and removing approximately ten 5-gallon water bottles. The suspects then returned to bottles for a deposit refund.
Investigation has also revealed that one of the accused males was wearing a disguise at the time of the occurrences. Upon arrest, one of the males was located in possession of a spray canister, believed to be pepper spray.
Vincent LAGROTTERIA, 23, of Caledon was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, Fraud Under $5,000 and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. Julian Crisante PEZZENTE, 22 of Caledon was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence, Fraud under $5,000 and Disguise with Intent.
The males were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 22nd, 2014 to answer to their respective charges.
