FAMILY DAY HOLIDAY SERVICE HOURS AT THE REGION OF PEEL

Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Family Day on Monday, Feb. 17.

 There will be no waste collection in Brampton and Mississauga on Feb. 17 due to the holiday. Garbage and recyclable materials (blue box and green bin) will be collected one day later that week. Residents in Caledon are advised there will beno changes to their waste collection services. Garbage and recyclable materials (blue box and green bin) will be collected on regular collection days during that week.

The following Regional offices and services will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 and will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 18:

For emergencies related to food, shelter, medication and personal supports, call the Ontario Works after-hours line at 905-793-9200 or the Region’s main line at 905-791-7800.

 

TransHelp service hours on Family Day will be from 6 – 1 a.m. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. The Accessible Transportation offices will be closed; regular office hours and bus service will resume on Feb. 18.Please contact TransHelp at 905-791-1015 for any questions.
