For Immediate Release
Caledon Farmers’ Market Changes Its Name to Bolton Farmers’ Market
Market rebranded to reflect community
The Town of Caledon has announced that the Caledon Farmers’ Market (CFM) will now operate as the Bolton Farmers’ Market (BFM), effective immediately.
The Market will adopt the name of the community in which it operates to reflect its geography; represent its primary consumer base; and to stand out from other Farmers’ Markets operating in both Caledon and the surrounding area.
“This change from the Caledon Farmers’ Market to the Bolton Farmers’ Market will allow us to serve the community better by connecting the Market to the community to which it primarily caters,” said Jith Dravin, Manager of the Bolton Farmers’ Market. “We want to increase the community’s attachment to the Market and use it as a focal point for the community. The name change or ‘rebranding’ is a first step towards achieving that.”
The Bolton Farmers’ Market will continue to bring fresh, local farm produce, crafts and events to celebrate everything Bolton and Caledon. To this end, the Bolton Farmers’ Market will operate from a new location in Bolton. Stay tuned for location information and further news from the Market.
