(CALEDON, ON)- On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the theft of a laptop from a Kennedy Road residence. The victim was visiting family and left her Dell laptop model 5430 and accessories as well as Kodak camera in a computer bag at the front entrance of the residence. When the victim returned the following day to retrieve her property, she noticed that it was gone. Upon speaking with her family, they disclosed that a set of vehicle keys were also missing from the residence. It is believed that the suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked door.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
