On Friday, September 20, 2013, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the victim a 43 year-old man from Brampton was operating his 2006 Nissan SUV on Highway 50 when he attempted to enter the plaza located at #8910 Highway 50. The victim’s vehicle was struck by a transport truck also travelling on Highway 50. The driver of the SUV sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre where he remains in life threatening condition.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or to the actions of the driver of the vehicle prior to the collision.
