(CALEDON, ON) – On Wednesday, September 5, 2013, shortly after 9 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of King Street and the Gore Road. Upon speaking with the involved parties, the officers detected that one of the drivers’ had consumed alcohol. As a result of the officer’s findings, the male was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
In conclusion, Miroslaw BEKAS, 58, of Mississauga was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 mgs.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 17, 2013.
