Peel Police – Stolen Van – Special Needs

Brampton – Officers from 21 Division, are investigating the theft of a van from the Brampton area.

On Monday, September 16, 2013, a specialized van was stolen from the parking lot at 922 North Park Drive. The vehicle was parked at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and was discovered stolen on Monday morning. The vehicle had been locked and the keys were still at the business location.

This vehicle is owned by “Special Needs Adult Program Services Organization” and it is the sole mode of transportation for over 35 persons with special needs in the area. The van is a white Ford Econovan, wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair lift. The licence plate is “SNAPSO1” and the vehicle has a distinctive logo on the side and two smaller logos on the other side.
