ALTERCATION OUTSIDE BOLTON RESTAURANT LEADS TO ARREST

(CALEDON, ON) – On Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 3 am, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an altercation outside a Village of Bolton restaurant. Upon arrival, officers observed a male assaulting another male. While the officers were separating the male parties, a second altercation between two females occurred. The females were separated and no one was injured. While the officers were controlling the second altercation, the male suspect left the area on foot. The suspect was located a short distance away and was arrested. As a result of the assault, the victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

 

Once the investigation was completed, Gregory NIXON, 29, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Assault.

 

The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on August 15, 2013
